Christine Zion is a contemporary digital artist, born and raised in Paris, France. In 2007 she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, and happily embraced her new life there.
Christine's love of nature and her adoration for Vancouver and British Columbia are expressed in her art. Utilizing photography from nature along with the medium of digital imaging, new levels of information and understanding are supplied for both the artist and the viewer. Her bold contemporary compositions are characterized by large sections of layered colors in an abstract style.
"The passion is in my artwork and I hope people can feel and see it," says Christine. She takes great inspiration from Pablo Picasso, who said, "I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."
