Patrick Heagney was born in New Jersey, but his family relocated to northern Virginia shortly after.

They settled in the suburbs outside of Washington D.C. which is where, at 15, Heagney got his first camera — a hand-me-down Canon AE-1. Any plans for getting a real job when he grew up went out the window shortly thereafter.

Heagney studied photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Afterwards, he moved to Atlanta where he's been living and working ever since.

A few of the great clients Heaney worked with in that time include Bristol Myers Squibb, Georgia Tech, BULGARI, Wilson Staff, Tanger Outlet Malls, The Royal Bank of Scotland, and many more.

In addition to assignment work, Heagney enjoys pursuing personal projects and creating Fine Art. His art-photography is represented by by many Atlanta galleries and is stock photography is represented by Getty/iStockphoto.
